Mrs Dot Kidd celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday with many family and friends. Dot enjoyed a champagne breakfast with her Keyworker before a visit to her hairdresser. She received her card from the Queen and had visits from the Lord Lieutenant and local councillors to help her celebrate her day.

Dot’s secret to her long life is hard work and minding her own business!!!

This was also a special celebration for Bonnyton House as they have waited 15 years to celebrate their first centenary. Manager Louise said it has been a long time in coming but well worth it.

Thank you all for returning the Quality Questionnaire's that were distributed at our Open Evening. The results have shown an overall performance increase of 6%.

All area's General, Home, Health and Service statements saw increases.

Our recent Care Commission inspection also gavce us an increase of grading bringing all catagories to a 5 (Very Good).

Staff and Management are very pleased with our own in house survey and to have it recognised by the Care Commission is welcoming.
